Project 23 is a reaction. We're tired of red tape and overhead and paperwork. We're tired of the attitude that says,
'i can't give much, so there's no point.'
The truth is you can afford to buy a 100 pound bag of rice for some kids in Liberia. You can buy them medicines and know that your dollars are being spent at the pharmacy, the same as if you flew over there and bought them yourself.
This is accountable giving: 100% of the money we receive through this project goes directly to the kids on the ground in Liberia.
food. medicine. mosquito nets. water.
(the essentials.)
$23. We spend it with our eyes closed. For me, it's coffee: I spend about $23 a week on these delicious blended caramel coffees (always with an extra shot of chocolate). I decided to give up just one week of my addiction last month, and gave the $23 to our field team to buy 100 lbs of rice for an orphanage. The cool thing is, we're making sure that every penny goes to the kids. No overhead.
